In the heart of the splendid countryside around Montaione Podere Moricci. Eight apartments have been created within this typical 18th-century Tuscan farmhouse and 2 houses, Scuderia and Terrazza, developed from an separate barn. Although renovated, the complex has kept its original structure. In the large meadow in front of the house, guests may enjoy the use of a 6x12m pool, made up of 2 smaller pools, connected. It's possibile to hire beach towels.Daily delivery of the fresh bread, apart of Sunday.
Included in the price from 04/04/ to 16/05 and 12/09 to 31/10 typical tuscan dinner which will have to be requested at the time of the booking ( last minute booking excluded). Owners speak English. Within 50 km you can visit Firenze, Siena, Pisa, Maremma coast. House "Podere Moricci" 12 km from the centre of S. Gimignano, 8 km from the centre of Certaldo and Golf di Castelfalfi, 22 km from the centre of Volterra. For shared use: swimming pool (02.05.-10.10.), paddling pool, outside shower, barbecue. Apartments from 2 to 8 persons. The country house has been restructured maintaining its characteristics of a farmhouse, with all the modern comfort (for example dishwasher, equipped kitchen) in order to offer to the client an unforgettable stay.

A two single apartments have been made from the barn (for 4 persons), the Stable and the Terrace, from which you can see the swimming pools and the beautiful panorama that surrounds the house can be admire.

A cook upon request is always available, who can prepare optimal from typical Tuscany dishes with products of the place in the apartment.

In the forests that surround Podere Moricci are trekking paths that lead to ancient mediaeval ruins and evocative landscapes; not to forget that near the country house passed the Francigena way.

The swimming pools are two connected between from a swimming pool for children, on the lawn that it surrounds them are predisposed umbrellas, deck chairs and sun beds and comfortable chairs for relax.

Who wants to make short trips, in the outskirts little more than 20 minutes by car to San Gimignano, the splendid High Certaldo and the Etruscan Volterra. At approximately an hour drive or train from Siena, Florence, and Pisa.

Where we are

A1 motorway Del Sole, exit at Florence/Scandicci. Go onto the Super Road Florence/Pisa/Livorno and exit Empoli Ovest. Turn left at Ponte a Elsa/Siena/Castelfiorentino. Arriving at Castelfiorentino follow the indications for Gambassi/Montaione. After a few kilometres, turn right following the Montaione indications.
After approximately 7 Km, there is a crossroad. Continuing on the right it brings you to Montaione, instead if turn left follow indications for Podere Moricci and after 700 mt an other sign indicates Residence Podere Moricci.
